Alex Eyssen represents individuals and corporate clients in a wide range of civil and criminal litigation matters. He has successfully handled several jury trials, both civil and criminal.
Alex was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas where he majored in Biology and minored in Biochemistry. While at McMurry, Alex conducted research in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and abroad in Mexico and China. Alex also was a Certified Emergency Medical Technician and worked for a variety of emergency medical response companies while attending college.
In addition, Alex graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law. While at St. Mary's he was Solicitations / Articles Editor for St. Mary's Law Journal. Alex also competed regionally and nationally for the St. Mary's mock trial team, ultimately winning a state-wide competition. Upon graduation, he was awarded membership to the National Order of Barristers.
Following graduation, Alex was an associate attorney for Adami, Goldman & Shuffield, Inc. in San Antonio where he handled first-party and third-party insurance defense litigation in state and federal court. Upon return to Abilene and prior to opening his own law firm, Alex practiced litigation with McMahon, Surovik & Suttle, P.C.
Professionally, Alex has served as President of the Abilene Bar Association and Vice-President of the Big Country Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
Locally, Alex has served on a variety of civic and charitable boards and committees. His hobbies include travel, camping, and hunting. He is married to Sarah Oatman Eyssen and has three children, Emma Kate, Andrew, and Luke Eyssen.
